Office Assistant - Part Time


The Office Assistant works under supervision of the President and performs a variety of skilled tasks in the running of Rehl Gardens business office, including; maintaining office operations; receiving and distributing communications; maintaining supplies and equipment; assisting with book keeping, payroll and billing tasks.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Filing and organizing paperwork
  • Updating client and employee documents
  • Maintenance and purchasing of office and field supplies
  • Receiving and recording client payments
  • Assisting with processing and mailing invoices
  • Preparing and submitting annual reports and filings


Minimum job qualification requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in English
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Outstanding organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Working knowledge of Quickbooks
  • Ability to quickly pick up new technologies and concepts
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work independently
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality


Physical requirements

  • Good physical condition
  • Must be able to safely lift office material


Work schedule

  • Part time –12 hours per week
